We’re excited to be participating in the new “In the Works” series at The Duplex (61 Christophe St., NYC). We’ll be sharing 15-20 minutes of material from our new show TOAST, alongside new work from three other fantastic writers: Andrew David Sotomayor, Patrick Dwyer, and Kelly Paige.

The show is Sunday, October 23 at 9:30pm.

“Carner & Gregor Underground” a 3-night / 12-character concert at the West End Lounge, August 12, 13, & 15

Carner & Gregor Underground Poster Carner & Gregor Underground at the West End, a 3-night concert, will be playing New York City’s West End Lounge on August 12 (Friday), August 13 (Saturday), and August 15 (Monday), all shows at 8pm.

The concerts will be directed and produced by Peter William Dunn. The 3 nights will feature 3 different cast playing a different set of characters from various shows of ours.

We’re excited to be presenting “The Songs of Carner & Gregor” at the gorgeous 54 Below (254 W. 54th St.) on June 2 at 9:30.

We’ll share a mix of material from three works in progress, including TOAST (fresh off our workshop at the Bloomington Playwrights Project), an as-yet-to-be-announced musical adaptation of an ABC TV series, and ISLAND SONG – just in advance of our Adirondack Theatre Festival production later in the month.

ISLAND SONG production at the Adirondack Theatre Festival June 21-July 2

We’re thrilled that the Adirondack Theatre Festival will be presenting our musical ISLAND SONG this summer.

The production will run June 21 through July 2 at the Charles R. Wood Theater in beautiful Glens Falls, NY. For tickets and information, go to: www.atfestival.org/event/island-song

The production will be directed by Marlo Hunter and musical directed by Vadim Feichtner. The cast will feature Kathleen Monteleone (Hands on a Hardbody, You’re the One That I Want, Legally Blonde), Aaron Galligan-Stierle (Ragtime, Grinch…, Phantom of the Opera), Madeline Trumble (Newsies, Mary Poppins, Wicked), Philippe Arroyo, and Emily Schultheis (Wicked).

ISLAND SONG follows a year in the lives of five New Yorks and the loose connections that bring them into each others’ lives at moments that become pivotal. The score includes “Sing, But Don’t Tell,” “Wall Lovin’,” “Stay Awhile,” “Make It Here,” “After Hours,” “So Far From Pennsylvania,” “New York, Do You Care?” and many more, including 5 MAC-nominated numbers.

Proud to pass along that “The Egg Nog Song” won a 2016 Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs (MAC) Award for “Best Comedic Song.” It was our 8th nomination for either “Best Song” or “Best Comedic Song” and we finally un-Susan-Lucci-ed ourselves.

Carner & Gregor X-Mass Concert 4 Join us on Saturday, December 19th for our first ever holiday show, SOMEBODY PUT ACID IN THE EGG NOG – a NICE and NAUGHTY Evening with Carner & Gregor and Friends.

And what are the holidays without friends? Some of our favorite young writers will be joining us to share some original holiday songs alongside some of our new holiday songs and a pair of mini holiday musicals!

Since our first “Barely Legal” concert five years ago, alums like Ashley Park, Danielle Wade, Lora Lee Gayer, Kathryn Boswell, Blair Goldberg, Tyler McKenzie, and many more have performed and starred on Broadway, toured the country, starred on TV, and made incredible art around the country and world.

A panel of industry judges, including Broadway performers, casting directors, agents, producers, and more have selected an incredible group of young performers, many of whom will be making their New York debuts in this concert! This year’s concert features:
